Date Night

Grandma and Grandpa babysat for us on Saturday night (for the first time) and let David and I enjoy a "date night". It was so strange to be out and about without a pregnant belly and without Kate, but it was so nice to just talk uninterruptedly with my husband and look at each other for more than 30 seconds. We went to a great Caribbean restaurant on the Upper East Side, Don Pedros, and enjoyed a wonderful and fun dinner. On our walk home, we enjoyed some ice cream and the wonderful evening. My, how you appreciate your time away, a dinner out, AND free babysitting, so much more after a baby. Thank you Mom and Dad!

Earlier that day we enjoyed some family picnic time at the park. Here are a few pictures from our weekend together.

Family time at Central Park!
A trip to the park is not complete without the hooter hider.
Mom loved the way her feet "peeked" out while she was nursing.
Kate waking up from her nap in the park.
Clean Kate ready for bed.
Kate in her Sunday outfit.

She is so precious and look at you skinny momma who just had a baby!! Wow!!

Such fun stories y'all have to share with her. Seems like if you have a baby in Texas someday it would be quite boring compared to the high life of NYC!!

Love the Pram!!

Meredith

p.s. Has it arrived? I'm so scared....
