Note: Some of these videos were taken when she was 12 months, but you get the point.
She stacks anything and everything. Her favorites are cups and bowls in the kitchen and her train. The volume doesn't work on this one, but you still get the point. My favorite is that she loses one of the stackers under her dress and tries so hard to get it out.
I think most children pretend play with dolls or cars. Well, not Kate. She pretends to eat. Hmmm. Constantly. Her favorite 'toy' to play with is really a bowl or cup and a spoon. She can be entertained for at least 20 minutes at any given time...just stirring and eating. Not sure what this means for her future. Also notice how she always sits with her ankles crossed just like a little lady. :)
Proof for the grandparents that she is walking. She has taken about 10 steps up to this point before crashing into something or falling down. But...she keeps trying! I'm so proud.
4. Cool Shades
Kate loves her sunglasses and feels so "cool" in them for sure. Why do all kids try to put things on from behind their neck? Or ... when she answers the phone, she'll hold it so far back behind her head. She also loves playing with her Ariel phone that PaPaw, Grandma and Auntie got her from Disneyland. So nice.
David has taught Kate how to play washers just like the KOTs did in college every night. :) She loves it and wants to do it over and over. I do realize as I watch this video that I don't think I am counting them correctly, but oh well. Who cares about me - it's all about Kate.
Thanks for watching!
